It was rainy whilst I was taking photos in Lisbon. There was some colour to capture, which you can see in the images above, but I thought that the city looked more interesting in the monochrome, so I ended up with the images below...
Then I headed to Rome and the weather cleared up, giving more opportunity to capture the colours of the Mediterranean...
The history in Rome was overwhelming. So was the heat. I spent four days walking around in a fervour, soaking through all of my t-shirts. But landmarks like the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain made it all worth it...
From here the trip meandered through northern Italy, with stops in Florence, Milan and lastly, Como...
...Which was one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited. After my day there, I flew back home over the Alps (without a window seat disappointingly) with so many new memories to take away from this trip, and some of the best photography work I've ever captured.
